What if technology could be used to improve communities and solve real-world problems?
That idea drives Tech for Good Saturdays, the weekend component of the Lakewood LeveLUP initiative.
LeveLUP is a Starting Point OST-funded initiative delivered through a partnership between From Me 2 U, Inc. and B&B Class, LLC, designed to provide youth with meaningful learning experiences outside of the school day.
During Tech for Good Saturday Labs, youth collaborate on projects that combine technology, leadership, and creativity to address community challenges.
Activities may include:
Designing digital awareness campaigns
Creating technology-based solutions for community issues
Producing collaborative art and media projects
Leading service-learning initiatives
These sessions bring together youth from multiple LeveLUP programs to apply their skills in meaningful ways while strengthening teamwork and leadership.
The result is a learning experience that connects innovation with real community impact.
Families interested in participating in Tech for Good Saturdays through the Lakewood LeveLUP initiative should visit the From Me 2 U, Inc. website to learn about program locations and upcoming session times.
