Choose 2 Be U – Developing Leaders and Changemakers in High School

Leadership begins with believing in your voice.

The Choose 2 Be U program, a core component of the Lakewood LeveLUP initiative, helps high school youth discover their leadership potential and prepare for future careers.

The LeveLUP program is delivered through a community partnership between From Me 2 U, Inc. and B&B Class, LLC, with funding support from Starting Point’s Out-of-School Time initiative, which helps expand high-quality afterschool learning opportunities in Northeast Ohio. 

Choose 2 Be U focuses on leadership development through:

• Coaching circles and peer discussions

• Social entrepreneurship projects

• Communication and decision-making skill building

• Service-learning experiences that address community needs

  
  

The program builds on From Me 2 U, Inc.’s long-standing youth development model that integrates life coaching, STREAM learning, and leadership training to help young people build confidence and future readiness. 

By working on real projects and collaborating with peers, youth gain valuable experience that prepares them for college, careers, and community leadership.
