Choose 2 Be U High School Internship Program

Preparing Future Leaders in Social Services, Health & Wellness, and Community Advocacy

​

From Me 2 U, Inc.’s Choose 2 Be U Internship Program is a 120-hour hybrid experience for high school students (grades 10–12) exploring careers in counseling, public health, nonprofit leadership, and social justice. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world projects, interns build critical skills in accountability, communication, and leadership that prepare them for future academic and professional success.

Interns choose from three career pathways:

• Social Services (Counseling & Social Work):
  Train as peer educators, develop conflict resolution skills, and assist in mentoring and family support programs.

​​

• Health & Wellness (Public Health & Prevention):
  Support harm reduction, mental health awareness, and wellness outreach through fieldwork, research, and education.

​

• Community Advocacy (Nonprofit Leadership):
  Learn program planning, grant writing, advocacy, and digital storytelling while developing community-based solutions.
