Parent-2-Parent: A Support Circle for Parents, Led by Parents

Raising children, growing, and developing their minds can be one of the most rewarding experiences a parent can experience. However, at times, it can be stressful and even isolating. 

​

From Me 2 U understands how important socialization and support can be and has established a platform for parents of youth enrolled in our clubs. 

​

Program Overview:

Parent-2-Parent is a peer-led support group designed to empower, uplift, and connect parents through shared experiences, practical wisdom, and collective growth. This program is grounded in the belief that parents are the most powerful advocates for their families—and that by supporting one another, they strengthen their own households and the broader community.

​

How It Works:

Parent-2-Parent brings together parents in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where they can speak openly, share resources, and build relationships. Each session is facilitated by parent leaders who have lived experience navigating parenting challenges and are trained to guide conversations with empathy and structure.

​

Groups are offered both in-person and virtually through a private BAND link, allowing for flexibility and accessibility based on each parent’s schedule and comfort level.

 

Program Features:

• Weekly or biweekly group sessions

• Topics selected by parents (e.g., behavior strategies, school advocacy, self-care, co-parenting, special education)

• Resource sharing and peer learning

• Guest speakers and workshops based on group needs

• Opportunities for leadership development and facilitation training

 

Goals:

• Foster mutual support and encouragement among parents

• Promote parent leadership and peer mentorship

• Address parenting challenges through shared strategies and real-life experiences

• Strengthen family and community engagement

 

Who It’s For:

Parents and caregivers of children of all ages, especially those looking to connect with others who understand the daily realities of raising a child.

1. Enroll your son or daughter 

2. Complete the Adult Programs Interest Form
